Procedure


If your golf club is interested in registering for GolfMark, please read through the information detailed on this website and then follow the steps listed below.

To Apply:
  1. Click on the 'Apply' page.
  2. Click on 'Register'.
  3. Read the 'Terms & Conditions'. Once you have read them tick the box and click 'Continue'.
  4. Complete the registration form and click on 'Save Details'.
  5. The Regional Development Officer for your county will be notified via e-mail about your golf club's application.
  6. You will now receive an e-mail detailing your 'password'.
  7. The EGU/EWGA will send out a GolfMark information folder to assist you with the assessment plus details of workshops in your area.
To Login & to complete the Self Assessment:
  1. Once you have received your password, you are able to go back into the website to complete the 'self assessment', using your club name and password on the 'Club Login' page - if you are experiencing difficulty re-inputting your password, copy and paste from the e-mail.
  2. Once you have completed the self assessment, the Regional Development Officer for your county will view the details and contact you to arrange an assessment meeting (to include where possible Junior Organiser, Club Secretary/Manager, Professional, Club Captain and representative from the ladies section).
  3. You are also able to prepare for the assessment meeting by viewing and printing details of the full assessment and looking at what evidence is required.

The Assessment Meeting:
  1. At the assessment meeting you will be asked to provide the evidence as detailed above.
  2. Following the GolfMark assessment meeting, you will be notified via e-mail when you are able to view your development report. A copy of the report and GolfMark certificate will be sent out directly to you.
  3. A form will be sent out with the above for you to complete and return, to enable us to reimburse your golf club the £40.00 for the workshops attended.  Should you have any queries please contact the Golf Development Team on 01526 354500 or development@englishgolfunion.org
